Abstract
Story of William Chidley who, in 1910, preached of harmonious natural loving where men and women shared equally in the joys of sex – contraversial stand, yet Chidley was considered a harmless eccentric or dangerous lunatic. In 1916 he died in an asylum, his message lost forever. Presented by Instant Theatre. Joan Lyndsay, adapted by cast.,In RWL archives 11/94 there is a post-production report. It says the company was bankrupted by ‘woeful’ audience attendance (most nights only 6 or 7 people attended, one night only 2 people attended, and the performance was cancelled as they were both ‘comps’.)
