Abstract
They said it couldn't be done! But with great determination and an adventurous spirit the Melbourne University Revue Group crashed through in 1984 with ''Let's Talk Backwards'', to achieve the first National Tour of an Australian University Revue. That show was acclaimed as a "splendid concoction" with 105 performances to its credit and a number of professional offers to its cast. But we couldn't just leave it that after all they said it couldn't be done again! In 1985, the Melbourne University Revue is striking back, the result: "Too Cool For Sandals". This year's revue retains the same elements of film, mime, cabaret and comedy, a concoction mixed to provide some Innovative entertainment. This year the cast have been ·selected from The Law Revue, The Archi Revue as well as student Theatre. Adding a dynamic variety to the production. And after two months of tap:dancing on each others teeth we bring to you Too Cool For Sandals.
