Abstract
This was a feminist interpretaion and was a funny portrayal of an “unmagical” world, riven with the forces of “marriage, money, love, sexuality, disguise” and patrriarchy. It included a capella and choral singing. The show opened with men gradually coming on stage one by one with candles under their faces. The stage was otherwise dark, with performers singing and forming a line at the front of the stage. The set had a fountain centre-stage.
