The Roar

The Roar Until Monstrous Presents: The Roar The Roar is an original and devised show that honestly and thoughtfully examines the experiences of young women in contemporary Australian society. This production is a response to a perceived lack of female representation in theatre in Australia. It is women driven - the production’s lead creative personnel are all women, the lead producers are women, and the lead technical team are women. Representation on theatre stages is of extreme importance – good representation reveals what is possible, and creates new images for those often overlooked to aspire to. The Roar elevates these honest experiences, and empowers the voices that share them.
