THE BOX
A live art installation by emerging performance artists Hanna O’Keeffe and Amy Spurgeon

What does beauty feel like, and where does it begin?
It begins with your skin.

Hanna and Amy invite you to engage in a one on one immersive experience with their BOX

Enter the box; a multi-sensory shrine for pain, pleasure and the embodiment of contemporary womanhair

This live installation is made by women and is open to everyone who has ever experienced body hair.

This work is accessible to people with mobility requirements and people with a visual or hearing impairment.

CONTENT WARNING:
The BOX comes with a strong content warning. It contains loud sound effects, course language and reference to self harm. The audience will be invited to experience the work alone, watching performers through a transparent window. Open Body Theatre apologizes for the inconvenience of issuing this warning at late notice and is happy to accommodate refunds or accept further questions at the door or via email at open.body.theatre@gmail.com

RUNNING TIME:
The audience is invited to enter the Box for 5-6 minutes each.
