Abstract
Devised by cast and Director Tom Gutteridge and writer Ian Wilding, into The Unknown is a series of vignettes around public transport, disapearence and ‘the unknown’. Part of Mudfest 11.
Choice, chance, attraction and danger — what are the elements that trip the switch and turn strangers into something more intimate?Built from a series of improvisations, ranging from the utterly abstract to the viscerally real, Into The Unknown is the product of a unique collaboration between award-winning writer, Ian Wilding, Union House Theatre’s Artistic Director, Tom Gutteridge, and a group of Melbourne University student theatre makers. The result is an exploration of the idea of theatre at its most basic, funny, physical and authentic.
